The PCIS softball team gave it their best this season. When asked about the games they remembered most, the Wacoochee game was mentioned often. "We almost beat them!" exclaimed Ashton W. (who at one point in the game pitched with a cast on her foot). "When I dove for the ball and got the out against Wachoochee," was Alex H.'s fondest memory. Hayle H. said "The thing I remember the most is when I caught the ball against Opelika." Madison G. said, "When we played auburn, I had to catch for the first time. Though there were some rough losses throughout the 3 -10 season, they have great memories of great moments and the team "grew closer as a family in the end."

The PCIS BETA Club, an academic honors and community service organization, collected more than 2100 food items during the annual canned food drive. This was three times last year’s collection. The cans will go to Central High School for the Beta Club to participate in the “CANstruction” program on November 14. The food items will then be donated to Lakewood Baptist LOAF program and the Salvation Army to help during the upcoming holidays.
PCIS would like to thank Publix for the use of their shopping carts during the canned food drive.
PCIS is also involved in collecting and recycling phone books, print cartridges, cell phones, MP3 players, and other electronic devices. These items can be dropped off at the PCIS front office any school day between 7:30 AM and 3:00 PM.
