Houston, We Had a Problem... |
|
At PCIS we have several technology-rich educational projects, processes and equipment with which we teach our students, communicate and collaborate with other schools, systems, companies and NASA. It is vital to our school, that they all run well and are fully functional. For example, if we get a call at 9:00 that there is a NASA scientist who has discovered a new planet using the calculations of pulse-timing from a neutron star who would like to talk to our students on her lunch break at 11:00, we need to be able to make it happen. We rely heavily on our very competent technology coordinator, technicians and our technology savvy faculty and staff to keep our systems up and ready for use. Nonetheless, there are times when we have technology problems, and for the most part we are usually confident after approaching every problem methodically and scientifically, when we say "it's them ...not us." This is one of those times. Please allow me to explain.
