The PCIS Falcons were in action again on Thursday night and came away with a 20-6 victory over the Prattville Lions. Tre' T., Dru D., and Rontrelle T scored touchdowns in the first half as the Falcons improved to 2 and 0 on the season. All 55 players that dressed out saw action and contributed in the win. The Falcons will take on Auburn next Thursday night in a battle of unbeaten teams at Garrett-Harrison Stadium starting at 6:00 p.m. est.

The PCIS FALCONS kicked off their 2010 campaign with a 14 - 6 victory over the Wacoochee Panthers in a preseason game Saturday at Garrett- Harrison Stadium. Quandarius W. scored on runs of 85 and 52 yards to pace the offense while Rontrelle T. racked up double digit tackles on the defensive side of the ball. All 56 players saw playing time in the contest and the coaches were quoted as saying " the effort was outstanding despite the sweltering temperatures". The Falcons will take the field again Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in Seale, Alabama when they match up with the Russell County Warriors.

The PCIS Falcon football team celebrated another successful season at the annual football banquet November 10. The Falcons defeatied rivals Auburn, Russell County and Valley in route to a 6-2 record for the 2009 season.
Each player and cheerleader was recognized at the banquet and special awards were given for outstanding offensive and defensive players. Coach Rawson also presented FALCON Pride awards given each year to players who excel on the field, as team leaders,and exhibit sportsmanship.

Falcons Win Invitational Tournament |

The PCIS boys’ basketball team beat Opelika Jr. High 44-40 in the East Alabama Invitational Tournament. Greg Dix scored 27 points in the win and was named the tournament’s most valuable player. Ishmael Jakes, who was named to the all-tournament team, scored 10 points. Deon Upshaw and Charles Baker scored 4 points each, and Demarcus Spivey added two. The falcons are coached by Treivis Henry.
The SGS girls’ basketball team beat Opelika Jr. High to win the East Alabama Invitational Tournament. The score was 41-32. PCIS seventh grader Amber Keith scored 7 points in the win.
